XG3051LT Differential pressure liquid level transmitter

Product Introduction:
XG3051LT is a 3051 series single flange remote differential pressure liquid level transmitter. Based on the principle of capacitive sensing, the flange isolation diaphragm directly contacts the measured medium, converting the static pressure differential generated by the liquid level into 4-20mA+HART digital signal output. It is specifically used to solve the problem of high viscosity, easy crystallization, easy sedimentation, and strong corrosion medium liquid level measurement, eliminating the need for pressure pipes and avoiding pipeline blockage.                

Application industry:
1. Petrochemical industry: measurement of liquid levels in reaction vessels, storage tanks, viscous materials, easily crystallizable media, and two-phase interfaces.
2. Water treatment environmental protection: monitoring of liquid levels in sewage tanks, chemical storage tanks, sludge tanks, and suspended solids media.
3. Pharmaceutical industry: liquid levels in reaction tanks, ingredient tanks, highly corrosive drugs, and sanitary tank levels.
4. Food and beverage: high viscosity materials such as sauces and syrups can be stored in tanks with optional sanitary flange structures.

General Conditions
The level flange transmitter can be directly mounted at any position.
The optimal installation condition is to keep the axis of the process flange vertical. Any positional deviation will cause a correctable zero shift. The electronics housing can be rotated up to 360°, and set screws can secure it in any position.

The minimum span of the differential pressure level transmitter shall be the greater value of the minimum spans in Table 1 and Table 2. The adjusted span shall not be less than this minimum span.
The maximum span of the level transmitter shall be the smaller value between the maximum span of the transmitter body and the rated pressure of the level flange.

Response Time

The damping constant of the amplifier component is 0.1 s. The time constant of the sensor and level flange ranges from 0.2 to 2 s, depending on the sensor span, turndown ratio, capillary tube length, and viscosity of the fill fluid.
Additional adjustable time constant: 0.1 ~ 60 s.

Q1: What is the difference between XG3051LT and XG3051DP?
A: XG3051DP is a common differential pressure transmitter that requires an external pressure conduit; XG3051LT is a single flange remote liquid level transmission type, equipped with an isolation flange diaphragm and does not require a pressure pipe. It is suitable for measuring liquid levels in viscous, crystalline, and easily clogged media, but not suitable for flow measurement.

Q2: What is the reason for inaccurate liquid level measurement and large fluctuations?
A: ① The flange diaphragm is covered by material accumulation and scaling; ② The silicone oil filling system experiences overheating and negative pressure, leading to the vaporization of silicone oil; ③ Range migration setting error; ④ The density of the tank medium has changed. Prioritize checking the working condition of the flange diaphragm, and then recalibrate the zero point and range.

Q3: How to select plug-in diaphragm and flat flange?
A: The medium is prone to settling and hanging on the wall. Choose an insertable membrane to avoid the membrane being covered by sediment on the tank wall; The medium is clean and free of sediment, and a flat flange can be selected.

Q4: Which media cannot be directly used with 316L film?
A: Under conditions of high chloride ion medium, strong acid and alkali, and strong corrosion, 316L will corrode and requires the selection of Hastelloy C, Monel, or tantalum film sheets; High temperature working conditions require confirmation of the temperature resistance level of the filling fluid.
